Iceman Sled!

Here it s. My Iceman sled for this year. It has shed the weight of packs and other camping gear!

Some requests have been made to reveal my spec list on the Quiring*.

So here it is:

*Size XXL steel Quiring 29er using a blend of Dedacciai and Columbus Nivacrom tubing.

1. Full Sram XX group with 42/28 chainrings combined with the 11-36 rear cassette.
2. Rock Shox Reba XX set at 100mm of travel (I am big guy at 6'5", 200 lbs)
3. Bontrager Race X Lite tubeless 29er wheels
4. Truvativ Team stem and Team carbon riser bar
5. Truvativ Stylo World Cup carbon seatpost
6. Selle Italia Flite saddle, we are talking old school.
7. Shimano XTR pedals (Yes Shimano, best pedal out there. Too many broken Crank Brothers)
8. Specialized S works carbon water bottle cages with aluminum water bottle bolts
9. Kenda Karma 1.9 tires, front and rear sealed up with Caffelatex sealant (The best sealant)
10. Salsa Lip Locker seatpost collar with ti bolt
11. ESI Chunky grips (The best grip out there)
12. Sram PC-1091R Directional Chain with KMC Missing Link
13. Sram Flak Jacket cable system (Do not need that fancy Nokon crap)
13. Garmin 305 GPS (Thanks, Mike N.)
14. Sram PowerLock link attached to cable housing for emergency use
15. Cane Creek S-8 sealed bearing headset
16. Specialized milled carbon headset spacers with special one of a kind GripShift stem cap

Weight is at 24.85 lbs according to the certified QA Lab scale at my employer.

See you at the Iceman!
